These Primary French resources are available free of charge for you to use and adapt in your own setting. Google Slides versions are available here – please do make your own copies on your own Drive before editing. 

 

These resources follow a modular, rather than linear approach. This means that you can use each unit in isolation – it is not dependent on having done a particular unit prior to another one. This allows you to maintain maximum flexibility, so that you can choose what to teach when, according to your particular curriculum needs.  There are also some standalone lessons available in the Les Festivals tab, which look at some French public holidays. 

 

Our resources have been developed in consultation with several local primary schools, and are especially designed for small primary schools with mixed year KS2 classes. You can teach these lessons over a two year cycle, and the activities are flexible enough that they can be suitable from Year 3 to Year 6. Each unit is fully resourced and fully adaptable.
